Gathering of Personally-Identifying Information
Certain visitors to CloudTeams website choose to interact with CloudTeams in ways that require CloudTeams to gather personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information that CloudTeams gathers depends on the nature of the interaction. For example, we ask visitors who sign up for an account on http://cloudteams.eu to provide a username and email address. In each case, CloudTeams collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitor's interaction with CloudTeams. CloudTeams does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below. Visitors can always refuse to supply personally-identifying information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain website-related activities, and no change in the platform operation and service experience.
Your CloudTeams profile is enriched by the services you connect to it. The CloudTeams service offers various integrations and is constantly adding more. The more services you connect, the more data we can have about you and the richer your profile page will be, as well as the recommendations for specific projects are expected to be more accurate.
Each type of account has different content and various amounts of personally-identifiable information, so you may be comfortable with connecting some and not others, upon your preferences.
We don’t read the content of the data we collect; we collect only what you see in your application, and you may find your media content only if you follow the link to the external resource. For example, we don’t collect, nor do we analyse the text from your Facebook status and Tweets, or your Instagram photos, and we store only the reference (URL) to this content; if you remove the content from the relevant platform, it is not anymore available to CloudTeams.
We use the authorization from your accounts only to read the information we need, which is described to you together with the purpose of its collection prior to confirming the connection, and never to write or modify your data in any way. In most cases, we only ask for read-only access, unless that is not an available option.
We load data once when your account is first connected, and then periodically to keep your account up to date. When you disconnect an account, we also delete all of the associated data that was imported from that specific account.
The following is a list of the services we integrate with and the data that can come from it:
We load the metadata of your uploaded videos, photos and posts, with reference to the real content.
We load your count of daily steps, and how far you ran, walked or climbed stairs.
We load a list of the places you've been to. From Foursquare, these consist of checkins at a point in time. These can contain latitude/longitude coordinates and addresses of locations.
We connect to Instagram and load metadata and links of all of the photos and videos you have posted. We don’t store the media content, we refer to it only through a link to Instagram.
Runs, swims, walks, biking and other types of physical activity. The details we get include the start time, duration, pace, calories, etc. If available, we also load the latitude/longitude coordinates to plot it on a map.
We connect to Twitter to load metadata and URLs to your latest tweets, retweets, favorites, your image uploads, as well as the interactions towards your content.
We connect to YouTube and get the views, likes and uploads on videos. No media is stored, only a link to the real content in YouTube.
Who can see your content?
By default, your account is set to private and you are the only one who can see your profile. There is one visibility option: Only Private. There are no social connections on CloudTeams
In case you choose to reveal your profile to a Software Team, the team’s members will be able to see a screen with your profile photo, name, surname, year of birth and gender. This information will be solely visible to that specific Software Team.
Your profile data are anonymised and then aggregated and grouped with the data of other users, to generate the called “personas” in CloudTeams and help software teams develop better software. Thus, no direct exposure of your data or your profile is possible. When your profile matches the search terms of a Software Team, an anonymized profile is revealed, with a nickname and a range of values, not directly presenting the exact values of your profile. If the Software Team decides to run a campaign for the selected persona, you might get an invitation, as well as all the other profiles that are under a persona. The fake persona that includes your profile will not be shown to the Software Team if there is not an adequate number of others user corresponding to similar research terms, in order to protect you from revealing your identity as a consequence of being the sole entity in that persona
We only use your data to power your profile page, and will never share or sell your details to any 3rd parties.

Nevertheless, the information that you provided to Software Teams through interactions will not be removed, e.g. the reports the generated based on the persona you applied, or the questionnaires you answered, as those activities have been concluded, you have been rewarded for taking them, and such an approach would break the functionality of the service.
